Research Ethics, guidelines & code of conduct
All JOYTEC Research studies are conducted according to best standards and rules of market research industry. We comply also with all data protection laws and privacy. This assures confidentiality, anonymity, and data protections of all research participants in JOYTEC Research studies.


We follow best research guidelines and code of conduct of many international research organizations; that includes ESOMAR, EphMRA and others.

Your participation in JOYTEC Research’ studies will be anonymous and confidential.

Anonymous and Confidential

Your share will be anonymized meaning nobody knows your exact opinion as the study final report will be in aggregated form and no specific opinions/ results are related to specific participants.
Your share will be confidential meaning nobody knows that you have shared in the study. We don’t share participants’ names or contact details with other parties.

No Names Policy

During the interview & whole study processes, your name won’t be used in any way. No names will be disclosed during the interview nor any personal details that would divulge your identity. You are requested not to share any personal details during the whole course of the research study and the research interview itself except with our recruiter who contacted you to invite you for the study at the start.

 

Personal data processing

Your data is kept with recruitment team only for the required period of time to complete this research and is then archived under secure conditions. It will be kept no longer than necessary for the purposes explained in this Notice.

 

Interview Recording

Your research interview will be recorded upon your approval (either written or verbal consent). This recording is very important to our analysts. They will use it to extract all your valuable opinions shared during the study. All recordings will be used for research purposes only and nobody will have access to these recordings except for research & analysis teams from JOYTEC Research and our research partners.

 

Privacy in relation with AE reporting (HCPs & Non-HCP)

We are required to pass on to the sponsoring client any details of side effects or product complaints relating to their products that are mentioned during the interview. JOYTEC Research will ask your permission to pass your contact details to the company’s drug safety department for them to follow up; you have the right to agree or disagree and this will have no impact on your privacy in the interview itself.
